Ratchet Blocks

Multiple gripping faces machined into our Series 40 and Series 55 ratchet block sheaves work in conjunction with our unique cross-hole geometry, delivering up to 20:1 holding power to resist slipping of the loaded line while minimising rope wear.

Series 60 and Series 75 Ultimate Ratchet blocks are high performance ratchet blocks featuring anodised aluminium sheaves, chosen when maximum holding power is required. A unique on/off switch mechanism can be operated under load from either side of the block. Popular for mainsheet systems and spinnaker sheets on sportsboats and small keelboats and for control line applications on larger yachts.
