Series 30

Ronstan Series 30 Ball Bearing Batten Cars run on twin races of recirculating ball bearings for easy sail handling and minimal friction, even when reefing while sailing off the wind. Series 30 cars are available with Captive Ball Bearings or in a traditional Ball Bearing configuration.

The lightweight 30mm track system is suitable for a wide range of yacht sizes depending on the batten car configuration. Systems using short batten cars are typically found on monohulls up to 23m (75ft) LOA with sail areas up to 120m² (1292ft²), and multihulls up to 17m (56ft) LOA with sail areas up to 93m² (1001ft²). Systems using long batten cars can accommodate larger yachts, typically monohulls up to 25m (82ft) LOA with sail areas up to 140m² (1507ft²), and multihulls up to 18m (60ft) LOA with sail areas up to 105m² (1130ft²).

The Series 30 also has a Luff Groove track option, allowing sails to be fitted with either Series 30 Batten Cars or a traditional bolt rope.
