Series 6 Ball Bearing

The Trackless Batten System - Ronstan's unique Ballslide™ batten car systems make raising and lowering the mainsail quick and easy. Captive ball cars run against the rear surface of the mast, eliminating the need for a track. This provides significant weight and cost savings over a traditional mast track system. Series 6 Ballslide™ cars typically suit monohulls to 12m (40ft) LOA or sail area 38m² (409ft²). Due to the higher righting moment on catamarans and multihulls, Series 6 Ballslide™ cars are generally suitable up to 9m (30ft) LOA or sail area 30m² (323ft²).
