The use of Ronstan Webstore is governed by the policies, terms and conditions set forth below.
Consumers should also refer to the support tab on the Ronstan sailboat hardware website to obtain information on Privacy, Warranty, Definitions and Customer Consideration. Please read them carefully.
By using this website and placing an order, you confirm your acceptance of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions complement existing consumer protections and do not supersede the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 within Australia or Australian Territories.
When ordering in the webstore you may choose to subscribe to our newsletter, which will add your contact details to our marketing database. From time to time we may contact you about offers and new products. You can easily opt out at any time by following the links in the footer of any marketing email, or by contacting our Customer Service at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ronstan reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason.
Ronstan will not knowingly accept orders from dealers, exporters, wholesalers, or other customers who intend to resell the products offered by the Ronstan Webstore.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order without giving reason. Upon cancellation of an order we will make all reasonable attempts to contact you using the details provided. Any payment received will be refunded using the same method by which they were received.
We aim to ensure that the product attributes provided on our website are accurate. however specifications may change from time to time and we apologise for any delay that may occur in updating the website.
Payment and Security
You are entitled to shop online and purchase products securely with your valid credit card. By submitting an order, you represent and warrant that you are authorised to use the designated card or method of payment and authorise us to charge your order (including taxes and freight charges) to that card or payment method. If the card (or other method) cannot be verified, is invalid, or is not otherwise acceptable, your order may be suspended or cancelled automatically.
Credit card information is not captured or stored at any time – not even temporarily. Ronstan does not have any access to your credit card information at any time.
All references to dollars on the website are to Australian currency. All prices are current at the time of publication on the website and are inclusive of GST.
We will aim to prepare and ship your order to you as soon as practicable. Most orders ship within 2 business days of the order being placed and take a further 1 to 5 business days to arrive by standard shipping.
These delivery times are estimates only. Ronstan will not be held accountable for late deliveries or loss or damage relating to late deliveries. In the event that multiple items are ordered, partial deliveries may be made where stock is not available. All reasonable attempts to notify you will be made using the details you provided.
Please ensure you enter the correct delivery address. Ronstan cannot be held responsible for incorrectly entered delivery addresses.
Acceptance Of The Goods
The buyer is responsible for inspecting the goods on receipt and notifying us within 5 business days should the goods not appear to be to expectation.
Return Of The Goods
The buyer is responsible for notifying Ronstan within 10 business days of receiving goods should they wish to exchange the product or return for refund. The buyer is responsible for all costs associated with the return of goods.
The Ronstan webstore processes all payments using through Stripe. This completely secure payment method allows you to use your credit card.
You can pay using either:

We only accept orders that have an Australian delivery address.
We do not accept international orders including orders to New Zealand. Please refer to the INTERNATIONAL website for distributor contact details in the destination country.
Ronstan will ship your order from Melbourne, Australia via Australia Post or via Startrack Express. We ship to addresses throughout the Australia. Your delivery address must include a complete street address. Startrack Express cannot deliver to a Post Office Box so Australia Post will be used in these instances.
For orders up to 5kg in overall weight, we will ship via Australia Post or via Startrack Express air satchel. For orders over 5kg in total weight, bulky orders that do not fit into a 5kg air satchel or for over length products (500mm to 3.0m max) you will receive confirmation of the full freight cost prior to your order being confirmed and processed. Please complete your order for these items and Ronstan will contact you to confirm the full freight cost. Please make sure that you you have provided your most appropriate contact information in the webstore checkout process so that our customer service representatives can contact you with the freight information for your shipment.

AUSTRALIAN goods and serices tax of 10% will be included in the total value of all orders.
10% GST is charged on any items shipped to locations within Australia. If you are departing the country with goods purchased in Australia during your stay; you should in most cases be able to claim a refund for the GST component of this invoice. You will need to produce a copy of the invoice to support you refund claim at your departure location.
No, we only accept orders that have an Australian delivery address.
If your order nominates a Post Office Box as the delivery address, Ronstan will only ship your goods via Australia Post. For larger parcels, you will be notified by your nominated post office when your parcel arrives and is available for collection.

Return instruction notes:
- You (the customer) are responsible for returning these goods in a re-saleable condition. If possible, please include the original packaging, a copy of your web store invoice and packing slip.
- You (the customer) are responsible for postage charges for the return of these items.
- Keep a record of your shipment until you have received your replacement item, credit or refund.
- Clearance/Sale items are non-returnable.
- Returns must be made within 14 days of the original invoice date.
- Please allow up to 10 business days for processing of all returns.
You have every right to expect that your parcel will arrive in good condition however we know that from time to time, this does not happen. The freight charge that you have paid on this shipment covers you for any damage that may be incurred in transit.
If your shipment has been damaged in transit, please accept the delivery and contact us as soon as practicable and within 2 business days. Please forward photos of the damaged package, goods and packaging materials and note any items that are missing to email@example.com along with your full contact details and a brief explanation of the problem. A member of our Customer Service team will contact you to review the matter and arrange replacement of the affected goods at the earliest possible opportunity.
