Architectural Rigging Systems

When the Ronstan business was started in 1953, our founders would never have dreamed that the expertise they harboured would one day see their company leading the world in architectural rigging. Born from half a century of experience mastering marine rigging technology, the entire Ronstan Architectural range has become a vital element in fulfilling the most challenging of design innovations, as well as the difficult and precise demands of architectural rigging.

Ronstan Architectural Rigging Systems utilise the beauty and integrity of stainless steel. The range has been developed from rigorous testing under the harshest of conditions, proven on the great racing yachts of the world and refined with the experience of 13 years of project successes. Not only is the Ronstan range of turnbuckles and rod fittings capable of withstanding extreme loads, but it also has the flexibility of application to satisfy the most challenging of innovative architectural designs. We believe that the importance of structural integrity and performance can never be underestimated. The range exudes function adding purpose and meaning, and most importantly Ronstan products reward an architectural feature with life.

However the Ronstan involvement stretches far beyond the design and manufacture of a turnbuckle. We created a style, which has excited the architectural and engineering community. A style evidenced in the architectural sculptures, balustrade/railing and the suspension and tension cables and rods in award winning projects worldwide. Over the years Ronstan has been translating the most exuberantly unprecedented architectural concepts into reality and now enjoys a reputation as a world leader with representation in a growing number of countries.

While the founders have long since retired, the ethic at Ronstan remains the same - “where design ambition has outstripped the conventional methods, the available products, the existing technologies - Ronstan will take the next challenging step with you”.
